But that's almost as good as a tatoo, no?

Fri, January 28, 2005 - 9:35 AMThat rocks! I've thought about getting a Boognish tattoo, but I try not to put anything on my body permanently that involve tastes that could change. While I doubt there will ever be a time when I don't like Ween, I would have said the same thing about the Grateful Dead 15 years ago and I'm really glad I never got a steal your face or dancing bear tattoo. Then again, the Boognish looks pretty damn cool regardless.
So do we get to see a picture of your boognish tat? -

he took a t-shirt to an embroidery store in Kathmandu, Nepal. He got them to make a boognish in the middle and then put all the lyrics to the Stallion part 3, going in an outward circle around the boognish. It is totally sweet. They only made one spelling mistake, which was impressive considering they don't even use our alphabet. It was only $60 Cdn. too!!

Tue, February 22, 2005 - 4:28 PMI have a line on my hand which was supposed to be part of a boognish, but for some reason the ink wasn't taking that day. I was giving myself the tattoo with india ink, sewing needle & thread. I had already given myself a bunch of tattoos with the same method, but the boognish wasn't working.
The line has sat on my hand for 14 years, and I've had many tattoos put on me since (professionally), and though I'm not as young as I was then, I sometimes flirt with the idea of finishing the thing. Iv'e also tried to imagine if I had finished it, would I still be into it? When I was 11, I REALLY wanted an Aerosmith tatto, and boy, am I glad that never happened!
